-
- since when is nemacs a word processor (in the usual sense of that
- term)?
-
- a check of recent japanese computer magazines did not reveal any
- os-2 specific japanese word processors.
-
- as an alternative, you can run dos/v (and possibly drdos/v) under
- os-2 and under this run one of the several major japanese word
- processors that have been ported to *dos/v. for example, one of
- my colleagues runs dos/v under os-2. he uses dos/v ports of
- ichitaro and word perfect 5.1J. njstar and moke also run under
- generic dos run under os-2. another alternative is jwp. this
- requires a windows 3.* environment.
-
- please relay any information you receive on this subject. i am
- building a faq on japanese on *dos*/os-2.
