- I used Gammatech to recover files from a corrupted HPFS Volume. It was
- so badly corrupted that booting from OS/2 boot floppy and running chkdisk only
- resulted in OS/2 being unable to find the C: partition. But Gammatech found the
- Volume, Files, and recovered them!
-
- This product does work
-
- I might also mention that, I had the 16bit version, and had not upgraded it
- until the above problem occured, All I did was call GammaTech, and talk to
- Benny Ormson (President), and He asked for my invoice number, said that I
- qualified for the free upgrade, and he would drop it in the mail that day. He
- also allowed me to Dial in (Modem) and DL the HPFS recover Utility that day, so
- we wouldn't have to wait for the mail!
-
- This is Service! I can't remember the last time a software Vendor did
- this for a small customer. Here is a company that supports OS/2 and really
- supports OS/2 Users
