  13. When runnig a DOS application under WINDOWS 3.1, clicking the top left 
  14. corner of the window it is running in will reveal a menu like this:

  16. RESTORE
  17. MOVE
  18. ....etc
  19. EDIT 
  20. SETTINGS
  21. FONTS
  22.  
  23. Now, I replaced the graphics display driver supplied with WINDOWS 3.1 with
  24. one that came on a disk with my TRIDENT video card.  I did this because
  25. WINDOWS had no 800x600 resolution drivers for 256 colors (it had only a
  26. 16 color one).  However, with the new TRIDENT driver, I now find that the
  27. "FONTS" menu option in the the above DOS window menu no longer exists!  It has
  28. been deleted from the options list!  This means that I can't change the 
  29. font size in the DOS application window unless I do either:
  30.  
  31.     (i)  Re-install the old WINDOWS driver, select the new font size, 
  32.          then re-install my new driver, or:
  33.         (ii) Edit the DOSAPP.INI file, typing in the font size I want.
  34.  
  35. Both these options are pretty tedious.  Does anyone know WHY the FONTS 
  36. menu option suddenly disappeared when installing the new graphics driver?
  37. Help with this matter is much appreciated.
