-
- That's exactly, what I have running under Windows/NT.
-
- Inport Mouse on IRQ2, Serial Ports on IRQs 3&4, NE2000 Ethernet card on
- IRQ5. This works fine for me and I don't have any problems. But be
- careful: Some (especially older) ET4000 cards always utilize IRQ2, which
- prevents other software using IRQ2.
-
- Another solution is to buy a XENIX compatible serial card. These cards
- provide 4 COM Ports all over one configurable IRQ (2,3,4,5,7). The October
- release does not support these cards, but Microsoft promised to support
- them, when I made a request to winnthw@microsoft.com.
-
- Buying a XENIX compatible COM card is much cheaper, than buying a new
- network card, that supports IRQs > 7 or a bus mouse card. Hope this helps.
- I got my XENIX comaptible card for DM 50 (about $30) here in Germany.
