  12.   I am a developer for NT and I am looking to buy a multiprocessor (MP) 
  13. machine for NT development. But when I saw the prices I almost fainted :-). 
  14. So I decided to check first if anyone out there has experience with 
  15. MP machines and would like to share their experiences. 
  16.   Did the machine performed well? Does NT speedup at all? I was reading that
  17. there are some problems with the MP kerel and there are some fixes. How stable 
  18. is NT under MP compared with a single processor machine. 
  19.   Also, since most of my computers run DOS/Windows, is anything else except
  20. file server that I can use this machine for? Is there any machine that 
  21. provides special programs that help DOS/Windows to take advantage of
  22. the many processors? 
  23.   Finally, are these machines reliable? I am afraid that since this is very
  24. compilacted machine, they would have reliability problems.
