  11. An updated version of COMPAQ drivers for the October Beta of Windows NT SDK
  12. are available for anonymous FTP at ftp.compaq.com in the
  13. /pub/compaq/nt/ntssd0.2 directory.

  15. The drivers are located in the file sp0421.exe or in compressed format in
  16. the file sp0421.exe.Z.  sp0421.exe is COMPAQ SoftPaq #421, which is a
  17. self-extracting archive.  When FTPing, remember to set the file transfer
  18. type to binary.

  30. 1. INTRODUCTION

  32. The device drivers and utilities on this diskette enable you to
  33. take advantage of specific capabilities offered on COMPAQ products 
  34. when using the October Windows NT Beta or SDK release available 
  35. from Microsoft.  These drivers are being provided for your evaluation
  36. of Microsoft Windows NT Beta on COMPAQ computers only.
  37.  
  38. Following is a list of COMPAQ devices that will be supported by COMPAQ
  39. NT SSD releases and/or Microsoft Windows NT releases.
  40.  
  41. Items under the "COMPAQ NT SSD" column currently have to be installed
  42. from the COMPAQ NT SSD diskette if they are available.
  43.  
  44. Items under the "MS Windows NT" column are either COMPAQ-developed
  45. drivers that have been confirmed by Microsoft to be included in their
  46. releases or they are Microsoft-developed device drivers to be included
  47. in their releases.

  50. included with Microsoft releases and will have to be installed from
  51. the COMPAQ NT SSD.
