  11. I am trying to use TCP/IP to reach UNIX host from my Windows NT machine
  12. (486DX2/55Mhz, 16MB RAM, IBM Token-Ring adapter, october SDK).
  13. I have followed all the installation steps described in the "TCPIP" manual and
  14. everything has gone fine.

  16. When I try to ping my local machine (or any machine) I get the following
  17. message:
  18. failed to open stream to IP
  19. IP handshake error
  20.  
  21. Any ideas ?
