- Since I posted my original mention of CTL3D you would not *believe* the
- amount of mail I've been sent..... To clear up the confusion, here's the
- sequence of events:
-
- 1. Microsoft posted CTL3D.ZIP on CompuServe.
-
- 2. I downloaded it and thought "hey, this is pretty good".
-
- 3. I post my message announcing it to this newsgroup.
-
- 4. The SAME DAY, Microsoft start reorganizing the structure of all their
- files on CompuServe, and erase everything in the
- /vendor/microsoft/developer-network directory on ftp.uu.net.
-
- 5. People look on ftp.uu.net, search for "CTL3D.ZIP", don't find it, and
- send me e-mail :)
-
- I'm happy to report that ftp.uu.net has now caught up with CompuServe again,
- and the file is available. However, all the files now have numbers, not
- names. The DLL, LIB, and example program you will find in directory
- "samples"; the documentation in directory "wintech", both within
- /vendor/microsoft/developer-network. I'm sorry, but I don't know the
- file names - you'll have to look in the index file contained in each
- directory. Perhaps, if somebody does download it, they could post the
- file names here.
-
- PLEASE - no more mail to me on the subject :)
