  13. At our site, the News Group Administrator [NGA] says that
  14. comp.ms.windows.programmer is not an official news group.  According to the
  15. Powers That Be [PTB], the officially sanctioned group is
  16. comp.os.ms-windows.programmer.misc
  17. ...tools, etc...  So, I can get comp.os.ms-windows.programmer.misc, but not
  18. comp.ms.windows.programmer.

  20. Assuming that the NGA knows what he's talking about, and that
  21. comp.ms.windows.programmer was never created following the guidelines for
  22. creating a group: is there any way to consolidate it into comp.os.ms-windows...
  23. other than encourage people to do so?
