- I'm gonna jump in here and agree with Fred. The performance of the application
- is different from the performance of the WINDOWS environment. No matter how an
- application is written, the overhead introduced by the OS is essentially the same.
- The fact is, a numeric coprocessor does nothing for the WINDOWS environment. It
- will only help an application which requires number crunching.
