  13. I recently purchased a Gateway 2000 4DX2-66V with a local bus ATI Graphics
  14. Ultra Pro, and was wondering if anyone out there has noticed bizarre behavior
  15. in Windows.  Here's what I mean:
  16.     1) Printing:  I use a Panasonic KX-P1124i and notice that whenever I
  17.         Print from Windows, some lines are missing and out of place,
  18.         and generally not good.  This happens when I use a variety of
  19.         the Epsonlike printer drivers, such as NEC, Epson, IBM, and
  20.         Panasonic.
  21.     2) Norton Desktop for Windows 2.0:  Good luck.  If I'm lucky I can
  22.         get this one to load.
  23.     3) Microsoft Golf for Windows:  'Box' appears around player in any of
  24.         the 16-bit color modes.
  25.     4) Caseliner 3.5: Dotted lines do not appear properly on-screen.

  27. I have NONE of these problems when I switch from the ATI mach 32 drivers to
  28. 8514/a, Crystal Fonts, or VGA.  But there is quite an obvious speed penalty.
  29. I am up to build 50 on the mach 32 drivers, but they have yet to correct ANY
  30. of the problems I have had.  Anyone have any hints?  Suggestions?  Fixes?
