- I've been approached by a local comic store owner about writing a
- database application to automate his "pull list". That is, each week
- a given customer will have a list of titles they want set aside for
- them before they go on the shelf. The store owner currently has 200+
- customers using this "pull list". The lists are on notebook paper.
- He also has special order lists incorporated into this process.
-
- He's given me a list of funtional specs for a computer program to
- automate this process. He would prefer it's done in C but due to time
- constraints I think C would be too much. I would like to use a
- commercial database program but I just don't know what would be the
- best package to go with.
-
- Are there any shareware packages similar to this available already?
- Has anyone written anything like this? Could I look at it? Also,
- what database package would any of you recommend if I go that route?
- Any and all suggestions, comments, etc. appreciated!

-
- BTW, if you need more information about WHAT the program needs to do,
- ask me.
