- Greetings! I've recently decided to convince the computer that I am indeed
- a fool, and have started working on heavy-duty graphics routines. (Actually,
- the computer decided I was a fool the time I accidentally redirected the
- keyboard interrupt to send all registers and everything to the screen...
- but that's a different story.) Anyway, I'm trying to come up with a routine
- to cycle the VGA DAC a la Fractint. Could someone either explain to me
- (in newbie terms, please; I'd rather feel like I'm back in elementary school
- than feel even more confused) [:)] how to go about doing this, or perhaps
- give me a general shove in the direction of an appropriate archive/reference?
- If it matters, I'm running Turbo C++ version 3.0, and my VGA is effectively
- just a vanilla one... (Actually, it's a Trident 8800 with what _looks_ like
- 512K on board, but it flatly refuses to do any of the 256-color higher-
- resolution modes.) Thanks in advance!
