  13. Does anyone have (or know where I can get) more information on the IDE
  14. interface??  I'm looking for a definition of functions that are available
  15. through the IDE interface, and how to access them.  Specifically, I'm sure
  16. there's a function that will return the ACTUAL drive parameters for the
  17. attached drive (not what the BIOS might *think* the parameters are).  I
  18. expect there are other not-too-well-known features and functions that the
  19. IDE interface supports as well.
