- Is Microsoft going to user(for lack of a better term)-written servers
- or publish the interface between the servers and the NT executive. Is
- the interface well-defined or was it determined in an ad-hoc fashion
- that arose as Microsft implemented their servers?
-
- I have been reading the "Inside Windows NT" book, which is pretty good.
- However, as the author admits, it doesn't get really technical. Does
- anyone know if anything more technical will be printed?
-
- From what I have read so far it looks interesting (very Mach-like and
- seems to be just as much a microkernel ;-), but if Microsoft only
- provide Windows, DOS and POSIX servers, then it doesn't look as nice.
-
- Just my opinion.
