  12. I just tried to order Andy's book -- Operating Systems: Design and
  13. Impmentation (the one with MINIX 1.0 code).  The book club we do business
  14. with, the Small Computer Book Club, sent me an out of stock notice.
  15. After contacting them, I found that the book is permanently out of
  16. stock.  Because the edition is copyrighted 1986, the operator
  17. suggested that maybe this was because the book may soon be 
  18. released in a new edition.  Is there any truth to this rumour?

  20. I would like to purchase the book, but I was hoping to get the better
  21. price we have through the club.  What's up?  What depressing holiday
  22. news.
