  25. This is wrong. Cairo is not the same as Windows NT. Cairo is the codename
  26. for Microsofts next generation user interface. Do not expect to see Cairo
  27. (or a product of cairo technology) until 1994. Cairo has been showed
  28. publicly at least once, about 6 weeks back.

  31. It probably won't do anything, good, though, as not much is known about
  32. Cairo.

  34. To make a short reference to mach: Microsoft now employes several of the
  35. former mach-researchers (I believe one of them was leading the mach
  36. project); these people now work mainly on Cairo, and not on Windows NT.
  37. It would probably be safe to assume, though, that the do "consultancy
  38. work" with the NT group -- they do know some microkernel stuff, after
  39. all.
