- MR>I've been trying to compile 99.2, but when it reaches keyboard.c,
- MR>I get an error message saying KEYBOARD_BH is undefined. I looked
- MR>thru all the files and cannot find any other reference to this.
-
- I've seen several references to this problem, you should have seen them
- by now in this very place. I'd tell you what they were, but I forget
- exactly what the answer was, just a location problem as I recall.
-
- MR>Another quirk I've found is copy/paste using twm in Xfree86: it
- MR>doesn't work on my setup. Normally I'd highlight text using the
- MR>left mouse button, and then tap the right button to paste it.
- MR>It does highlight, but no paste.
-
- I noticed this two, I've jumped ship to the olwm window manager, it
- seems to work much better, and cut/paste works in it. :-)
-
- MR>One more thing and I'll finish. :) Is it just me or are there
- MR>only 4 virtual terminals, even tho the initial login screen says
- MR>there are 8? Anytime I push ALT-F[5-8], all I get is a blank
- MR>screen.
-
- You have to define the extra consoles in the inittab file in /etc to
- activate the other virtual consoles. I did that, but discovered that
- does take more memory, and I really wasn't using them, so I took it
- back out.
-
- I'm pleased to actually be able to answer some Linux questions, since
- I only got it running the other day. I'm still on the steep part of
- the learning curve. :-)
