  12. I have a problem with the new gcc-2.3.3 stuff: several packages won't compile
  13. anymore (e.g. plp) because of two missing functions: 'gethostbyname()' and 
  14. 'getservbyname()'. ld claims about not finding these symbols.
  15. Where are these functions gone?
