  12. I've been working on a partial rewrite of the serial driver, in an
  13. attempt to speed it up and fix some of the other problems people have
  14. been complaining about.  This version should be a lot more reliable,
  15. especially on systems with unusual serial boards or other unusual
  16. hardware.

  18. If you're not afraid to recompile kernels and play with test versions of
  19. device drivers, I'd really appreciate if you give my new driver a try.
  20. It can be found on tsx-11:/pub/linux/ALPHA/serial/serpatches.
