  28. BTW - what are the correct mknod settings for a 250Mb drive?

  30. The 150 meg settings gave me a 'density minor bits have changed' error -
  31. have you seen this?  I made /dev/tape with mknod /dev/tape c 12 16,
  32. and the error went away - but I don't know if it's right or not.

  34. It also sounds suspiciously like my tape controller is dead.  Dammit!
