  12.     There is a now known problem with email, where if you do not
  13. create the mailbox when you create the user id, the mailbox ownership
  14. gets screwed up.

  16.     Peter acknowledges it, as he has given us a 'fix' for it...but
  17. it is only a superficial fix...

  19.     What is different with Linux/SLS over, lets say, my current
  20. OS, Interactive?  Why do I not have that problem here?  I have smail
  21. 3.1.25 installed, I have elm installed, so that so common.  One thing
  22. I did notice, while 'comparing' the systems...my Interactive has a
  23. lmail program...Linux doesn't.  Could that be the problem?  I'm not
  24. sure if my system is using lmail, or if it is just left over from when
  25. I originally installed it.

  27.     I myself am at a loss for ideas...I've checked all the
  28. permissions and ownerships and nothing seems 'out of place'...except
  29. that it doesn't 'chown username /usr/spool/mail/username' after it
  30. creates the folder.
