- Hi...
-
- There is a now known problem with email, where if you do not
- create the mailbox when you create the user id, the mailbox ownership
- gets screwed up.
-
- Peter acknowledges it, as he has given us a 'fix' for it...but
- it is only a superficial fix...
-
- What is different with Linux/SLS over, lets say, my current
- OS, Interactive? Why do I not have that problem here? I have smail
- 3.1.25 installed, I have elm installed, so that so common. One thing
- I did notice, while 'comparing' the systems...my Interactive has a
- lmail program...Linux doesn't. Could that be the problem? I'm not
- sure if my system is using lmail, or if it is just left over from when
- I originally installed it.
-
- I myself am at a loss for ideas...I've checked all the
- permissions and ownerships and nothing seems 'out of place'...except
- that it doesn't 'chown username /usr/spool/mail/username' after it
- creates the folder.
-
- Anyone?
-
