- I just found the answer I was seeking about the kernel.

- Suggestion: In the README file in /usr/src/linux, how
- about adding the fact that the bootimage is on the floppy, not
- on the Hard drive? And that for the compilation to be effective,
- you need to do 'make disk' to put the new bootimage onto the floppy.

- I finally found the answer by going through the archive site
- and finding a file called 'kernel.notes'...it was in there :)
