  13.     I just found the answer I was seeking about the kernel.

  15.     Suggestion:  In the README file in /usr/src/linux, how
  16. about adding the fact that the bootimage is on the floppy, not
  17. on the Hard drive?  And that for the compilation to be effective,
  18. you need to do 'make disk' to put the new bootimage onto the floppy.

  20.     I finally found the answer by going through the archive site
  21. and finding a file called 'kernel.notes'...it was in there :)
