- Hi,
-
- I am trying in vain to use a modem at COM3 on my machine. I have
- my Logitech mouse at com1 and 9600 baud hayes compatible modem at com3
- (and I have a wd8003 ethernet card at com2). Since com1 and com3 share
- the same IRQ, I would like to know how LINUX deals with this. Would this pose
- any problems for me - would I be able to use my mouse and my modem also?
-
-
- On a related issues, I am still running SLS 0.96. I would like to upgrade
- from this to the latest 0.99 kernel. Would somebody be kind enough to help
- me figure out how I go about upgrading my system - what all it invovlves.
-
- Thanks heaps,
-
- Later
- Divya
