  15. I've been holding back from buying a PC, now that linux is pretty stable, I
  16. ran out of reason for not buying one.  I'm planning to buy a 486DX-2/66VL 
  17. (Yes, GW) which is equipped with ATI ultra PRO VL-bus version.  I'm just 
  18. wondering if anybody who had successfully install linux and X386.  I'm also 
  19. planning to buy a Texel CDROM drive and Gravis Ultrasound (I must have this) 
  20. card.  Are there any existing support on these hardware?

  22. I would be interested in messing around with the device drivers if nobody have
  23. already done it.  I'm interested to talk to anybody who have experience 
  24. installing linux on similar setup so I won't be doing some silly mistakes.
