  14. I have a Compaq 386-20 with 5 meg memory and color VGA card. I copied
  15. 0.98p5 version of SLS package from tsx-11 and tried to boot using the
  16. kernel contained in file a1.  The computer displays the Loading.....
  17. line, and then prints on the console this:

  19. Press <RETURN>  to see SVGA-modes available or <SPACE> to continue
  20.  
  21. and at this point regardless whether I press space or return the
  22. computer reboots. I looked at the FAQ but did not find anything
  23. helpful. What should I do now:

  25.  get another version of SLS?
  26.  try another kernel version?
  27.  give up Linux and try BSD386?
  28.  give up Unix and stay with MSDOS?
