- Hello!
-
- I have a Compaq 386-20 with 5 meg memory and color VGA card. I copied
- 0.98p5 version of SLS package from tsx-11 and tried to boot using the
- kernel contained in file a1. The computer displays the Loading.....
- line, and then prints on the console this:
-
- Press <RETURN> to see SVGA-modes available or <SPACE> to continue
-
- and at this point regardless whether I press space or return the
- computer reboots. I looked at the FAQ but did not find anything
- helpful. What should I do now:
-
- get another version of SLS?
- try another kernel version?
- give up Linux and try BSD386?
- give up Unix and stay with MSDOS?
