- Hi,
-
- In the config.in file that comes with the new Linux version (.99) there are
- the following lines (I have deleted some that I don't mean to talk about):
- ##############################################
- SCSI support
- .
- SCSI support?
- CONFIG_SCSI y/n y
- :
- SCSI low-level drivers
- .
- Always IN support
- CONFIG_SCSI_ALWAYS y/n y
- ##############################################
- It would appear to me that the SCSI card Always IN2000 is being referred to
- here as the SCSI_ALWAYS or Always IN, what I would like to know is
- 1) Who wrote the config file and included the above ?
- 2) I have such a card and can't install Linux on my Hard Disk, what should I
- do ? Please help me somebody.
- I have previously asked for help even privately using E-Mail to people I
- thought could help but all to no avail. I am not the only one, there is quite
- a number out there and we need help.
- My configuration is: 486DX, 8Mb RAM, 200Mb HD, IN2000 SCSI Controller.
- Any help will be appreciated.
-
- Martin.
