  13.     finally got the modem to answer the phone (hurray!!)
  14. and then I hit a problem with logging in on that dialin line
  15. (*sigh*)

  17.     Someone suggested I needed the login program from the
  18. poeigl.tar.Z distribution, so I tried it...guess what...doesn't
  19. work.  I'm presuming that that logi doesn't use shadow passwd's,
  20. whereas my system does...and I can't seem to find any flags in
  21. the include files that allow me to turn on shadow passwds :(

  23.     Anyone have another idea as to how I can do this?  It
  24. does answer, it does prompt for login: and for passwd: but that
  25. is as far as it gets :(
