- Are you sure the keyboard is >dead<? When I press one of the lock
- keys, all of my keystrokes are converted into CTRL chars. So,
- pressing `a' gives me ^A, pressing `d' lets me logout (with ^D) etc.
- This is useful because, at least, if you have a `sync' in your shell
- history, you can use `p' (which gives you ^P) to access it.
