  12. I've just installed SLS .99.1, and when I cat anything to /dev/lp1, it works,
  13. but only prints a line every 4-6 seconds.  It's intolerable!

  15. I've tried cat, cp, pr, combinations of such, and as long as the last thing
  16. is:  ... > /dev/lp1, it is S L O W.

  18. I've tried it in the background (cat file > /dev/lp1 &) and foreground, with
  19. different VC's - each way produces the same lethargic behavior.  .96 did not
  20. do this.

  22. Is TCP/IP causing this?  How can it be changed?
