- I've just installed SLS .99.1, and when I cat anything to /dev/lp1, it works,
- but only prints a line every 4-6 seconds. It's intolerable!
-
- I've tried cat, cp, pr, combinations of such, and as long as the last thing
- is: ... > /dev/lp1, it is S L O W.
-
- I've tried it in the background (cat file > /dev/lp1 &) and foreground, with
- different VC's - each way produces the same lethargic behavior. .96 did not
- do this.
-
- Is TCP/IP causing this? How can it be changed?
-
- Much thanks.
-
- Also, why is .99.1 source not included w/SLS install?
-
