  23. Man, this is *STRANGE*!  It *sounds* like you're still using the old getty!
  24. I definitely would *NOT* recommend that anyone use your shell script.

  28. I've never had any problems using uugetty...  It works great on /dev/ttys0
  29. with a Hayes Optima 24 (2400 baud V.42bis).  I can call into my linux-box
  30. from anywhere else, and I can kermit out of it just as easily.  It's supposed
  31. to be using the same lock files as the UUCP suite, so I doubt I'd have any
  32. trouble using uucico either.
