- I just compiled the .99p1 kernel and installed it on the hard disk.
- I am booting with LILO-0.7.
- Right at bootup I get a message saying
-
- ...
- Wild interrupt? (IRQ 1)
- ttys0 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16450
- ttys1 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16450
- ...
-
- As a result of this, the mouse attached to /dev/ttys0 isn't handled properly.
- However, it works just fine with the boot floppy (.98p5) made by the SLS
- installation procedure; this one also doesn't report the "Wild interrupt".
-
- Is there a bug in .99p1 or am I doing something wrong when I compile the kernel?
- Thanx for your help.
-
- Cheers,
