- rdev -v /dev/fd0 -1
- will set the SLS boot floppy video type to "NormalVga" (assuming it is
- still in the drive, ie. /dev/fd0) which should give you 80x25 and not
- go into any of the "advanced" modes. (I have the same problem on a
- DECpc 320P laptop -- when set to prompt, there are 2 or 3 available
- ones, but none of them change the actual screen size. X does run on
- it, given the right XConfig...) If you use -3 instead of -1 it will
- prompt you at boot time, then at boot up just hit space and you should
- be alright.
