  14. I have an old IBM Proprinter connected to lpt1 (/dev/lp1). But when ever I
  15. print a Linux textfile with cat file > /dev/lp1 the output does'nt have
  16. LF's and looks like :

  18. Line 1
  19.       Line 2
  20.             Line 3
  21.                   etc.
  22.  
  23. An msdos file copied to the linux-fs with mcopy comes out correctly, but in
  24. emacs each line has a ^M at the end.
  25.  
  26. My /etc/pritcap is very primitive, because I don't have any man's :
  27. #lp|panasonic:lp=/dev/lp1:sd=/usr/spool/lp/panasonic:lf=/usr/bin/mail:mc#1:\
