  26.    I had the same problem, but there's a command called 'useradd' which
  27.    seems to perform an identical function, and has a man page to boot.

  29. adduser is in in the Fixes-directory/disk. Be careful: you have to install
  30. a[1-5], then Fixes/zafix.taz, then b[1-8], then Fixes/zbfix.taz...

  32. The reason is: the b-set installs the shadow password suite, the a-fix
  33. fixes the original (non shadow) /bin/passwd by installing a new one.
  34. If you install all fixes after having installed [a-x], you get a login
  35. that looks up your password in /etc/shadow, and a /bin/passwd that changes
  36. it in /etc/passwd.
