  10. Hi:
  11.     I am a new user of linux. After I succefully installing the whole
  12. system(a,b,c,x), I have some questions.
  13. (1) The kernal I have is .98pl5.But after I login as root, it appear
  14.     linux 0.96 on the screen. Did it mean that the kernel is .96?
  15. (2) How to install t1-t5? I try to use sysinstall, but don't work.
  16. (3) How can I install the other package(utility)?(I am using a pc
  17.     without a ether net, I only can download the package to dos formated
  18.     disk. I try to use modem under linux, but I can not usr ^\ to get to
  19.     local under kermit. So the only way I can think of is download to a 
  20.     floppy and rawrite it and mount as a filesystem. Can it work?)
  21. (4) as I mention about ,when I used kermit , I can connect to the modem.
  22.     But I can't jump back to local mode using "^\".Is it because of the 
  23.     keyboard problem?(my keyboard is gateway-2000 anykey).
