- Just installed SLS .99 on my 386-40 with minor difficulties. One big problem
- I had was with /etc/inittab. It seems that each tty that wasn't commented out
- in inittab had /bin/getty called. The problem was that there was only a
- /etc/getty on the system. A quick change with an editor is all it takes to fix
- this.
-
- One thing I haven't fixed yet is at boot time I see the screen that prompts
- for the SVGA screen, but it just flashes by and sets up in a very small text
- size (100x80?). Anyone know how to get it to change text size after boot or
- better to let me select what mode I want it to boot in?
-
- Thanks in advance...
