  24. You have an older version of bash that didn't like all the changes from that 
  25. drastic of an upgrade. You have 2 options at this point then.

  27. 1). Find a newer binary. I would try H.J's bootable rootdisk at this point.
  28.     It should be on tsx-11.mit.edu in the pub/linux/GCC directory.

  30. 2). Recompile it yourself. You can pull down the source from any gnu mirror,
  31.     and I can send you the context diffs that I sent off to the FSF for
  32.     compiling it under linux.
