  12. I downloaded the ipc extentions to linux 0.99[.1] and installed them
  13. according to instructions, but the make failed on the .../src/linux/ipc
  14. Makefile.  After browsing through the IPC Makefile I discovered it is
  15. a copy of the .../src/linux/Makefile, with the two-line change to make
  16. ipc compile in (ARCHIVES and SUBDIRS changes).  There appears to be no
  17. Makefile for the ipc directory.  Has anyone else run across this, and is
  18. there a reliable fix?  I hesitate to throw together my own Makefile for
  19. a package which will become part of the kernel, since any mistakes I
  20. make might not show themselves until sometime down the road, when I least
  21. expect (and can least afford) it.

  26. As soon as I can wean myself from Wing Commander II and SimCity I'll be
  27. rid of DOS forever! (at least at home ...)
