- As a newbie myself I can't really offer you too much help, but...

- As the root account you can try to chmod g++ to be readable by o)thers.
- I had exactly the same problem with gcc/g++ - could run one but not the other,
- until I set the read permissions.

- Hope it works. I'm still trying to figure out how ti get mail to work with
- seg faults for a non-root account! without getting a new news program that is.
