  16.   I have been working away at getting X visable on my system and things
  17.   seem to be progressing well except that whenever I exit from twm the
  18.   system refuses to return to character mode. Hence I am doing a lot of
  19.   blind shutdowns. If I restart X all is well with the world again. 
  20.   I also cannot seem to define my card as "tvga8900" in the Xconfig
  21.   file. If I do so I simply get a blank screen. My documentation for
  22. the card actually says 8900c Is this an important difference? I am
  23. using SLS 98.p5(?) on a 486 dx with 8 meg ram and a large swap
  24. partion. My monitor is a Viewsonic 5(?)
