  11. Thanks to the several emails I received for showing me the way.

  15. 1)  SLS is designed to be installed to a HD rather than used as a floppy
  16. set-up.  I didn't realize that.  However, it is the distribution I *will*
  17. be using when my HD controller comes in on the next delivery.
  18.  
  19. 2)  Floppies must be formatted by DOS first, before Linux will acknowledge
  20. them.
  21.  
  22. 3)  The correct format for mounting a new floppy device is:
  23.     # mkdir <pathname>
  24.     # mount </dev/whatever> <pathname>
  25.  
  26. Thank you to the constructive suggestions.  Now to get the 0.99.1
  27. distribution so that I can get rid of that annoying keyboard lockup prob.
