- No matter what I try I can't get past steps 4 and 5 in the README
- file of LILO 0.7. When I boot from the floppy on which I installed
- LILO, the following characters are printed, then the system just
- hangs:
-
- LI<delta>KLILO<face>01
-
- (<delta> and <face> are single characters, but I can't type them).
-
- I am using Linux 0.99, and I have had no problems in building and
- installing this on floppy using the default bootstrap code.
-
- I have an Adaptec SCSI controller, and I think I have set up the
- disktab file correctly.
-
- Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem?
-
- Thanks,
- Nigel.
