  11. No matter what I try I can't get past steps 4 and 5 in the README
  12. file of LILO 0.7.  When I boot from the floppy on which I installed
  13. LILO, the following characters are printed, then the system just
  14. hangs:

  16. LI<delta>KLILO<face>01

  18. (<delta> and <face> are single characters, but I can't type them).

  20. I am using Linux 0.99, and I have had no problems in building and
  21. installing this on floppy using the default bootstrap code.

  23. I have an Adaptec SCSI controller, and I think I have set up the
  24. disktab file correctly.

  26. Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem?
