  18. I had to use H. Lu's bootable rootdisk, using same disk --- only boots
  19. some of the time.  Always readable is if mount -o ro /dev/fd0 /mnt.
  20. Note that I use bootlin so no other experience with Lilo.

  22. I had been using diskette only as rootdisk, not as bootable until trashed
  23. system by install of poeigl-1.7 with inittab with non-existent serial tty.

  25. I refuse to alter boot segment of HD so haven't looked at why Lilo does NOT
  26. reliably boot --- bootlin is fine.
