- I had to use H. Lu's bootable rootdisk, using same disk --- only boots
- some of the time. Always readable is if mount -o ro /dev/fd0 /mnt.
- Note that I use bootlin so no other experience with Lilo.

- I had been using diskette only as rootdisk, not as bootable until trashed
- system by install of poeigl-1.7 with inittab with non-existent serial tty.

- I refuse to alter boot segment of HD so haven't looked at why Lilo does NOT
