- Hi all,
-
- After reading that rebooting without doing a sync can cause problems I ran fsck
- on /dev/hda2, the Linux partition. Shortly after that I noticed that when using
- kermit there was no longer any input from the keboard to the screen when the
- connect mode was being used, i.e, atds etc. no longer shows up on the screen,
- although the various 'at' commands still work.
- I decided not to mess with that at the moment as what I wanted was to get X
- up so I moved on to that. I wanted to check something with Norton so I rebooted
- and toggled capslock to get lilo to load dos. Lilo now is broken, it won't
- accept keyboard input either.
- Will I have to do the install all over again, or is there a fix for this pro-
- blem?
-
- thanks for any help,
- -frank fmn@redrock.nevada.edu
