  31. In this case, why does my father's 386sx25 run Coherent with
  32. virtual consoles, but his keyboard on my machine doesn't? Surely
  33. the problem cannot then be with the keyboard. Similarly, the new
  34. keyboard on my machine works OK on my father's machine with vc's
  35. but not on mine.
