- I've just got a new 33mhz 386sx and have attempted to install
- Coherent on it. I have been using Coherent on my father's 25mhz
- 386sx without problems, but this new machine seems to have
- keyboard problems.
-
- I specified 4 virtual consoles and the UK keyboard driver during
- setup, but as soon as Coherent loads from the hard disk and asks
- "Insert a disk from the installation kit and hit <Enter>." I get
- an "a" when I press <Enter>. Similarly, all the other keys are
- wrong - the keyboard is completely screwed up.
-
- I've circumvented the problem by specifying no vc's and no
- keyboard drivers - this seems to do the trick. However, it's not
- satisfactory - I want vc's and I (understandably) want a UK
- keyboard!
-
- Can anyone suggest a solution? I seem to remember hearing about a
- patch for this very problem - can someone point me in the right
- direction?
-
- I'll be eternally grateful to anyone who can help!
-
- Regards,
-
- Mike
