  23. Back in the "good old days" (before ANSI), MWC sold what some considered to be 
  24. the best C compiler for the IBM/MS DOS environment.  It was FAST, RELIABLE, and
  25. CHEAP!!

  46. Of course it would be impractical for a commercial enterprise, I only suggested
  47. in response to someone asking what "we" (the user community) could work on as a
  48. joint project.  There are those who are willing to build something like this
  49. "just for the hell of it".  Of course, for serious work, it would be ideal to
  50. have a commercially supported product with support etc.
