- Lowlites included the poor planning for the all day technical seminars.
- The room I was in for the Internet Protocols tutorial was packed. Extra
- chairs were brought in, but sitting in a chair juggling notes, paper, and
- writing instruments without the benefit of a table gets tiresome.
-
- The seminar rooms were the same rooms as the technical session rooms,
- except they were cut in half with the sliding room dividers. Nothing
- was on the other side of the room dividers except space which could
- have been used to handle the overflow crowd. We had about 2 hours off
- for lunch. Surely they could have opened up the room and put in more
- tables in 2 hours.
-
- In any case, $450 for a week of technical sessions and gourmet food for
- lunch :-) is still a bargain!!
-
- It would be nice if someone from SUG would follow up with the presentors
- and get all those slides put on sunsite.unc.edu as promised.
