  11. Okay, if I understand it correctly, there is nothing wrong with using my
  12. opcode midi-translator with my powerbook 100.

  14. Fine idea, cept it isn't working. I've turned off appletalk. Still nothing.
  15. These are the symptoms:

  17. 1. I am using Finale
  18. 2. When I launch Finale, the screen continually flickers (and even though the
  19. power book is plugged in) the da i have for showing me the state of the power
  20. says I'm not plugged in that the battery is running low etc etc.
  21. 3. When I attempt to send a file to my Yamaha PSR 400, Finale responds by
  22. telling me that the MIDI interface is not working.

  24. Okay, you say, "PB 100 and OPCODE MIDI Translator" work fine. What software
  25. do they work fine with, and WHAT is the "MIDI manager" and how do I get it
  26. and is it designed to work with Finale. Or should I buy something like
  27. Opcode's EZ Vision to run my PSR 400?

  29. I mean, I like Finale, but I would like the portablility of being able to
  30. take the PSR with me and the PB 100, so if there is some cheaper sequencing
  31. software around that is known to work then I could buy that and use the MIDI
  32. files I created with Finale to take with me on the road.
